2003 WEINGÄRTNER VARIO 500/8000 CNC Rotor and Stator-Core Peeling / Profile Milling Center

Heavy-duty, special-purpose CNC machine engineered for the production of long, precision-profiled components, including single- and multi-lobe mud-motor rotors, stator cores, progressing-cavity pump components, worms, screws, and related helical or eccentric profiles.

The VARIO system combines dedicated profile peeling and profile milling operations in one machine, allowing manufacturers to rough-machine and finish complex rotor or stator geometries without transferring the workpiece between separate machines. This configuration is particularly suited for oilfield, drilling, pump, and power-section manufacturing applications.

The machine accommodates workpieces up to approximately 8,000 mm / 315 inches long, with a maximum published peeling diameter of approximately 130 mm / 5.12 inches and maximum milling diameter of approximately 170 mm / 6.70 inches. It is equipped with a WEINGÄRTNER profile peeling head, profile milling head, programmable workpiece rotation, long-bed workpiece support system, and tooling for producing mud-motor rotor and stator-core profiles.
